This Magazine advert is for Ne-Yo advertising his new single MAD which is from the album ''year of the gentleman''

The way Ne-Yo is dressed in this advertisement portrays the name of the album ''year of the gentleman'' as he is dressed in a smart suit which can relate to the stereotype of a rich, middle class, successful gentleman.

Ne-Yo is the main attraction in this advertisement as the background and things around him are blurred and out of focus this is known as shallow depth of field, which draws all of our attention to Ne-Yo and uses his celebrity status to gain attention.

The Target audience for this poster advertisement is teenage girls as the song ''MAD'' is a love song about a struggling relationship and the arguments the couple have but regret. Many young girls could relate to this song as its stereotypical.
